NEW YORK - Boston Red Sox players divided a World Series bonus pool of nearly $19 million into 47 full shares worth over $300,000 each after their Fall Classic sweep of the Colorado Rockies, Major League Baseball said on Monday.

Players with the runner-up Rockies voted 44 full shares of their bonus earnings for a payout of more than $233,000 each.

Bonus money, comprised of 60 percent of gate receipts from the first three games of the Division Series and 60 percent of the gate from the first four games of the League Championship series and World Series, was divided among 12 clubs.

The Red Sox split a bonus pool of $18.88 million, also voting 14 partial shares and 11 cash awards.

Colorado players divided $12.59 million.

The Rockies voted a full share for Mandy Coolbaugh, widow of Mike Coolbaugh, the organization's first base coach at Double-A Tulsa who died after being struck by a foul ball in July.

Five partial shares and 45 cash awards were also given by Colorado players.
