Ronaldinho had pulled out the Barca squad on Saturday hours before the Primera Liga clash in the Nou Camp against Recreativo Huelva, which the side went on to win 3-0.

The club said he had been suffering from excessive fatigue and that it had been a mutual decision between the player, medical team and coaching staff that he rest.

Henry, who played on Saturday, was suffering from back and groin pains.

Captain and centre back Carles Puyol had recovered from a blow to the ribs that forced him to be substituted against Recreativo, and was included along with France defender Lilian Thuram who was rested on Saturday.

Group E leaders Barca only need one more point to progress to the first knockout round.
