Guangdong hosted some 70 journalists from June 5 to 9 on a tour to explore the province's innovation-driven and intelligent manufacturing industry.
The tour was mainly sponsored by the Guangdong Publicity Department, , and hosted by State-owned news agency Xinhua.
The journalists, from various media outlets, met with local government officials to learn about the development of Guangdong’s manufacturing industry. They toured local companies across the four cities of Guangzhou, Foshan, Dongguan and Shenzhen, to witness the development firsthand.
