Cuntan Yangtze River Bridge entered the final stage of construction as the bridge underwent asphalt surfacing on Feb 22. The bridge is due to be fully operational by the end of this year.

The bridge has a total length of 1,600 meters, with a span of 880 meters running over the Yangtze River. It is a simple suspension bridge with two towers.

The bridge has a width of 38 meters, with eight lanes running in each direction. The speed of cars is limited to 80 kilometers per hour and sidewalks are available on both sides of the bridge, allowing people to cross the river and enjoy the view.
