The Chongqing stage of the 2016 Cloud Computing Big Data Innovation Road Show was held at Liangjiang New Area on April 28, with 18 innovative programs participating, liangjiang.gov.cn reported.

As representatives of different segments of cloud computing and big data industries, these 18 projects cover various trends of the industry such as how to use big data in safe production, hospitals and pet care.

Experts from the Chinese Institute of Electronics, the China Cloud Computing Technology and Industrial Federation, and the Chongqing Humanity and Technology Institute commented on the competing programs.

The road show was cosponsored by the China Cloud Computing Technology and industry Association and the China Big Data Experts Committee.

The Chongqing Cloud Computing and Big Data Industrial Association and the Chongqing Information Industry Investment Promotional Center carried out the event.

The winning projects will attend the Eighth China Cloud Computing Conference in May.
