The Liangjiang administrative committee's 22 functional departments have received an overall performance appraisal rating by 220 of Liangjiang's enterprises and public institutions. The grating results will be brought into the Liangjiang administrative committee's 2014 annual appraisal and assessment.

The Liangjiang administrative committee's new performance appraisal system aims to enable the public to join the performance appraisal, according to a staff member from the committee.

"This year, we will develop the new platform with local enterprises and public institutions. The service object will be randomly selected from them and requests will be sent to rate the functional departments of the Liangjiang administrative committee," said a staff member from the organization department of the Liangjiang administrative committee.

The rating criteria will be based on the service quality, problem solving abilities and the service environment. For administrative service departments, the rates will account for 20 percent of the final assessments, whilst for the industry development departments, the rates will account for 10 percent of the total.
