AA to start new non-stop flights between China, US
American Airlines Inc said on Thursday it plans to launch two new non-stop services from Shanghai and Hong Kong to Dallas, the carrier's largest hub. If approved, the new routes will start next summer. The airline plans to use Boeing 777-200 aircraft with three classes on the route between Shanghai Pudong International Airport and Dallas. "We have had a longstanding ambition to increase America's presence in the China market," said Erwan Perhirin, the airline's managing director for Asia-Pacific. The airline currently operates three routes between China and the US.
