The premiere ceremony of Visit Taoism in Louguan, a humanities documentary, was held in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province on March 2.
The documentary has eight parts and shows how Laozi, a philosopher of ancient China, wrote Tao Te Ching, a compilation of Taoist sayings, in Louguan, a Taoist temple.
The documentary will be broadcasted from March 1 to March 4 on China Central Television (CCTV), Shaanxi Television, and Xi'an Television.
Ren Farong, head of China Taoist Association and Jia Pingwa, a famous contemporary writer attended the ceremony.
