JDSU, a world leading company in communication test and measurements and optical products has opened a new broadband network development center in Shenzhen.

The center locates in Nanshan district, where high-tech enterprises and talents concentrate. It occupies three floors of 6,000 square meters, includes a communication test and measurement lab and an optical communication lab equipped with world-class equipment and network infrastructure.
Heard said the center now has 250 employees, but the new office area can hold more than 400 people, that's to meet the company's rapid expand and recruitment of new talents.
The company's main customers in China are key network equipment providers and operators including Huawei, China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom.
According to him the Asia-Pacific region contributed 25 percent of the company's total revenue in fiscal year 2011 of 1.8 billion US dollars and he believed the number will go on getting bigger.
"The market is huge," he said.
