On Oct 30, Guangxi’s first Horticutural Expo opened at Liudong, in Liuzhou city.

Ma Biao, the president of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, attended the opening ceremony. The vice Minister of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Qiu Baoxing, sent a congratulatory message.

The Exposition embodied the designing ideas of science, humanity, and ecology and the whole garden was designed into four parts – the exhibition zone, waterfront leisure space, public service area and ecologic vegetation region.

Several styles of gardening and horticulture, as well as unique local landscapes from 14 regions and cities in Guangxi and 23 other international friendly cities from ASEAN, America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia, were displayed in the garden.

The site of the first horticultural exposition is located near Jiuziling of Liudong new area in the eastern outskirts of Liuzhou city, covering 680,000 square meters. The expo park will be open to the public free of charge after the event.
