South Korean pop band Wonder Girls promoted their home food on Saturday at the Shangri-La Hotel in Dalian, Northeast China’s Liaoning province.

Because of their global fame, the girls were recently chosen by South Korea’s Ministry for Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries to be publicity ambassadors for South Korean food.

“We are participating in various activities around the world now. It must be good that we popularize the healthy South Korean food while promoting our own music,” said Min Sun Ye, the group leader.

After the promotion, the girls performed their best-known song, Nobody, a song with an easy-to-sing tune and simple dance steps, at the opening ceremony of the 22nd Dalian International Fashion Festival.
