The signing ceremony of the quality sports center in Sichuan province was held in Chengdu on Wednesday, marking the standardization of quality sports education and training in the southwestern province.

The event was sponsored by the State Sport General Administration and organized by the Sichuan branch of Beijing Shentong Culture Co.Ltd.

Yang Zhaoyong, CEO of the Sichuan branch, explains that quality sports is different from the traditional one.

"It combines students' mental thought, creativity,innovation and team spirit, coinciding with the quality-oriented education of our country," he says.

He reveals that some 400 quality sports centers will be set up in Sichuan and abide by the quality sports standards in educating and training.
