Sunrise, an expert in precise environment service in China, had its initial public offering on the Growth Enterprises Market (GEM) on Wednesday.

It is the fourth firm from the Chengdu High-tech Zone in Sichuan province which has been listed on the GEM.

The other three are Silicon Symbol Technologies, GoTel and Galaxy Magne, according to Wang Wei, an information officer with the zone.

Over the years, his zone has incubated a number of thriving small and medium enterprises which have in turn boosted the economic development of the zone.

To solve the bottleneck in terms of capital, his zone has built a comprehensive, diversified and multi-level investment and financing service system for small and medium-sized firms.

It organizes both regular and irregular seminars and training sessions on how to go public for them, solving their problems in the course of going public.

The zone has 22 listed companies, accounting for half of listed firms in Chengdu, he said.
