Int'l Tea Expo to open in Kunming

The 5th Yunan International Pu'er Tea Expo will run from April 12 to 15 in Kunming.
Tea producers and retailors from China, Vietnam and Sri Lanka will attend the EXPO. The expo will display tea culture, tea set, tea package and tea brand.
Insiders said the output of Yunnan's Spring tea dropped due to the drought but that will not affect the expo seriouly because Spring tea is accounted of 20% to 30% of total teaoutput.
According to Yunnan statistics bureau, the output of Yunan tea reached 180 thousand tons in 2009.
