The 2010 Job Fair for Foreigners in Shanghai:
Time: 9:00am - 4:00pm, April 3rd, 2010 (Saturday)
Place: 3rd Floor, Zurich Hall, Swissotel Grand Shanghai (five star)

Hosted by Chinajob, the Job Fair for Foreigners is the SOLE event authorized by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China.

Since the first Fair in 2005, thousands of foreigners have found satisfactory jobs in China and since the 2009 Job Fair in Beijing and Shanghai, the demand of expatriate engineers, financial experts as well as senior managers hit an all-time record in China.

Last year event attracted over 1,000 degreed and diverse candidates to kick-start their career. Over 110 exhibitors participated in the event for hiring including China Radio International, International Channel Shanghai, Shou Gang Group, Fasten Group Company, Jiang Nan Mold & Plastic Technology Co., Ltd, Chery Automobile Co., Ltd.,Surrey International Institute, DUFE, Jiang Ling Motors Co., Ltd, Affiliated Hospital of Jining Medical College, Triangle Group etc.

Up to now, Chinajob has received more than 700 demands for professional personnel from State-owned and privately owned companies all of which will be exhibitors for the 2010 Job Fair for Foreigners.

Registered exhibitors include but are not limited to: IP Chine, China ENFI Engineering Corp., Shou Gang Group, English First, Tianjin Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, Zhejiang Association for International Exchange of Personnel, Jiangxi Provincial Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, eChinacities.com, Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and so on.

Compared to previous Job Fairs, we will have fewer education institutes but more enterprises and companies instead. Tips for expatriate job seekers:

1. Take your CVs, copies of Degree Certificates and other relevant documents (as many as possible).

2. Try to make your CV simple and clear (1-2 pages are enough).

3. Wear suits and be professional, you may get a job at any time at the Fair.
4. Check the brochure and find your targets before starting searching since there will be lots of people in the Main Hall.
