Q:Do you think the increasing popularity of digital cameras has posed a threat to professional photographers like you?

A: The film camera industry has been hit hard by digital photography. The production and sale of film as well as the printing all face a shrinking market. Most photographers choose digital camera which saves them from the "complete darkness" (working in a darkroom) and puts them in the "sunlight" (working with a computer). The use of film camera is limited now among the few who specializes on art, documentary, and commercial photography. Their fascination with silver salts is as strong as those music fans of LP. In my view, the film camera will not disappear but it cannot take a big market.
