Nannies arrive in Beijing to relieve shortage

Local pedestrians watch 60 nannies from Zhuozhou disembark from a bus in Beijing on Feb 3, 2010. Zhuozhou is a city 80 kilometers to the southwest of Beijing. Aged between 25 and 45, these nannies all received professional training before coming to the capital. With the traditional Chinese New Year fast approaching, Beijing is experiencing a shortage of nannies, as most of them would return to their hometown during this period. [Photo/CFP]
