Comment on "Is China repeating Japan's mistake?" (April 20China Daily)

Professor Ito's advice is timely, if not a little too late, for those who have invested their life savings in real estate. For speculators, the loss may only be financial. But for those buying their first homes at this price level, the collapse of the real estate bubble may be a real tragedy. They may lose their jobs and their homes when the bubble bursts. The resulting misery is unimaginable.

I doubt that the Chinese will behave any differently from the Japanese. Each person will have one bite of the cherry, no more. The Chinese should accept the good Japanese professor's advice before the cherry turns rotten.
