The Ximeng Va Ecotourism Area is a national AA scenic spot located in the Ximeng Va autonomous county. It is home to the Mengsuo Longtan Lake, Likan Waterfall, and Muyiji Holy Valley. More than 80,000 ethnic minority people live in the Va culture protection zone, where various cultural heritages, such as the Yongkeluo Garden, Sigangli Clan and Sakyamuni relics, are preserved. The pottery, musical instruments, paintings, weaving and dyeing techniques, songs and dances, and rituals in the protection zone are reflections of early human civilization.

The county of Ximeng is located on the banks of the Mengsuo Longtan Lake and resembles a circle with 5-kilometer radius. It is covered by a primeval forest all year round and is known for its fresh air, clean environment and Vazu customs. The county is also known as one of China’s most important ecological areas.
