A direct flight opened between Kunming in Yunnan Province and New Delhi in India on Nov 11.

Aircraft used in the flight departs from Jinan in Shangdong province on Monday and Friday and from Qingdao on Wednesday and Sunday before connecting to New Delhi. The 2,870 kilometer journey is expected to take approximately five hours.

Since March, Yunnan Air Group has opened new international flights routes, including those to Vancouver, Moscow, South Korea’s Busan and Jeyu, and Japan’s Nagoya. Its annual passenger throughput is over 30 billion.
