The China Senior Professors Association unveiled its 17th tennis tournament in the Kunming University of Science and Technology on July 11.

The competition has 12 teams from Beijing, Chongqing, Guangzhou and Xi'an and will last for two days.

The China Senior Professors Association' s tennis club, established at Tsinghua University in 1999, has 30 group members from over 100 universities of China.

Peng Jinhui, president of the university, outlined the school' s development and the sports events held there within the past five years. He hoped that the competition will lead to enhanced friendship among the professors and the universities involved.
