The Russian State Ballet will perform Swan Lake in Kunming, Yunnan, on Sept 21 and 22.

The ballet dancers, though young, occupy an important position in the ballet world. The cast includes several prize winners in recent international ballet competitions.

Swan Lake by the Russian State Ballet is dubbed "the greatest Swan Lake of all time," as this version maintains the traditional, elegant style and adds many creative and highly-difficult moves. Each scene, from the impressive splendor of the palace ballroom to the moon-lit lake, has been carefully designed. Under the guidance of noted art director Viacheslav Gordeev, the show is considered a classic.

Audiences have the chance to see the famous solo dance of the black swan in the third act. The 32 consecutive turning fouettés (turning on one foot), created by Italian ballerina Pierina Legnani in 1892, will be performed again.

Tickets are sold on Damai.com.
