A new international kindergarten is expected to put into operation in the Urumqi Economic and Technological Development Zone (Toutunhe District) this September, local media reported on July 18.

The kindergarten is co-funded by Xinjiang Suxin Culture & Education Technology Co Ltd and Nanjing Aierfang Education Technology Co Ltd.

Li Jie, headmaster of the kindergarten, introduced that each classroom will be equipped with computers, air conditions, a disinfection cabinet, educational multimedia equipment and a digital camera. The kindergarten will design several activity areas in the classrooms, including a science area, art area and games area.

Drawing rooms, art rooms, an amusement park and a garden will also be constructed at the school.

Li Jie said that there will be two primary classes open this year, enrolling more than 40 children. The school can fully accommodate 270 children and is expected to reach that target in three years.

"Our teachers are all locals with more than five years of teaching experience. Kindergarten teachers and experts from Nanjing will be invited to train our teachers before the new semester starts," Li Jie added.
