A new health and wellness app was recently launched in Urumqi’s Toutunhe district to aid its local residents in accessing health consolations with ease.

Official statistics show that 26,000 local residents from the Toutunhe district have enlisted medical services through the app. Through the health app, users can make appointments with medical centers, upload blood pressure and blood sugar statistics and send them to doctors for health guidance.

“Before I used the app, I used to spend a lot of time waiting in hospitals, but now I can ask for health information without going out, which is incredibly convenient,” said Liu.
