Sanitation workers from Urumqi’s Toutunhe district dressed up in Uygur costume on Jan 20 in celebration of the Lunar Spring Festival.
Deng Shaoxin, a sanitation worker for more than 10 years, said that he was very happy to gather together with his colleagues to celebrate the festival.
“Sanitation workers work very hard in all year round and have made great contributions to the city,” said Hao Hua, an official from the Toutunhe sanitation department.
