Huoshao (twisted baked wheat bread rolls) is a traditional snack in Fanzhen town, Daiyue district, Tai'an city, East China's Shandong province.

The ingredients for huoshao include a piece of dough, donkey oil, chopped peanuts and black sesame seeds. The dough should be kneaded repeatedly, and then it should be cut into small pieces and pressed into longer thin pieces. After applying donkey oil with a brush to the pieces of dough, and sprinkling chopped peanuts and black sesame seeds on the surface of the pieces, the dough should be carefully rolled into twisted rolls. Put them in a pan on the stove and toast them until they turn into the shape of huoshao, then bake them in the oven until they give off the aroma.
