Nageh Mohamed Ibrahim Mohamed Taha, a doctoral student in Chinese language and literature, is seen by his friends as a man of planning.

The young Egyptian arranged his summer holidays so he could learn French and attend the 2017 Youth Innovation Competition on Global Governance, which took place in the Kazakhstani capital, Astana, in July.

Other participants appreciated his innovative ideas, such as developing an industry to make lithium batteries in Afghanistan and creating ways to eliminate poverty through basic income.
