On March 3, Leif Rogers, an American Lei Feng medalist of Liaoning province working in Jinzhou, came to the "Lei Feng Primary School" (Xiao-Dong school No.2) and was hired as an after-school activities counselor. Rogers gave his translated edition of "Lei Feng’s Diary" to students as presents and promised that he would pass the the spirit of Lei Feng to more foreign friends.
