A dinosaur fossil exhibition will open to the public free of charge in Yichun in East China's Jiangxi province on Sept 23.

Many treasures of the Zigong Dinosaur Museum will be on display, including a world-renowned fossil of Omeisaurus and other various rare bone fossils and dinosaur eggs.

A group of lifelike, mechanical dinosaurs will also interact with visitors. The exhibition applies various high-tech means to recreate the original environment that dinosaurs lived in to make visitors feel that they have been transported back to the Jurassic Period.

This exhibition features a three-dimensional dinosaur encyclopedia containing a great deal of text and pictures presenting and showing the history and living habits of dinosaurs. In addition, many participatory activities will be held during the exhibition, including lectures on dinosaurs, a photography competition, a drawing competition, dinosaur films and a dinosaur toy fair.
