The 2015 Wuxi International Wedding Expo will kick off on March 7 in the Wuxi Sports Center. It will last for two days.
The expo is jointly hosted by the Jiangsu Commerce Department, Wuxi Chamber of the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC), Jiangsu New International Convention & Exhibition Group, and Shanghai Shifu Exhibition Service Company.
The expo covers an area of 15,000 square meters and 600 international-standard booths, providing a wedding supplies purchasing platform for industries including wedding photography, ceremony planning, jewelry stores, ceremony hotels and wedding room decoration. Meanwhile, it offers opportunities for mutual trade and cooperation among these industries.
The wedding ceremony industry has been a dominant part of China's economy, with a total wedding consumption of 418.3 billion yuan ($ 66.89 billion), making up about two percent of the gross domestic product (GDP) in the last five years.
