Du Xuejun, of the Mongolian ethnic group, was born in Hailar, North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region in May 1965. Du was elected mayor of Baotou at the 4th plenary session of the 14th Baotou Municipal People's Congress.

With a bachelor's degree, Hao started work in July 1980 and joined the Communist Party of China in September 1984. Hao was elected deputy mayor of Baotou at the first plenary session of the 14th Baotou Municipal People's Congress.

With a master's degree, Ren started work in October 1976 and joined the Communist Party of China in October 1986. Ren was elected deputy mayor of Baotou at the first plenary session of the 14th Baotou Municipal People's Congress.

Wang Jixiang, of Han ethnicity, was born in Guangyuan, Southwest China’s Sichuan province in September 1969. After earning a doctorate, Wang started work in July 1992. He is also vice-dean of the College of Engineering at Peking University. Wang was elected deputy mayor of Baotou at the fourth plenary session of the 14th Baotou Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee.

 

Lu Zhi, deputy mayor of Baotou

Lu Zhi, of Han ethnicity, was born in Tangshan, North China’s Hebei province in February 1962. He is a senior engineer with a master's degree. Lu started work in July 1986 and joined the Communist Party of China in October 1995. Lu was elected deputy mayor of Baotou at the 15th plenary session of the 14th Baotou Municipal People's Congress.
