Children's market enlivens ancient street

Hundreds of stalls selling crafts created by children from Neixiang county, Henan province, opened to the public on Shuyou Ancient Street in recent days, giving kids the chance to experience what it's like to be a trader.

Buyers and sellers hustled and bustled in the busy market, which had on sale many items from handmade handicrafts, to books and toys.

Located in the Historical and Cultural Block of Neixiang Local Magistrate's Office, the market was oragnized by the county's special administrative office, Huizhi Business Development Co and Hongqi Fine Art Studio.

The Xianya block has been redeveloped and upgraded in recent times and as a result it has attracted a host of new enterprises, revitalizing the area. The block is a popular spot for residents and visitors to stroll, shop and eat.
