The city of Nanyang in Henan province embraced the first snow of the season on the last day of October.
The snow fell in the Laojieling scenic spot in Xixia county, Nanyang, on Oct 31, blanketing the area in white.
The snow was a signal for the residents that the winter is fast approaching.
