Central China city concentrates on science park

The mayor of the city of Nanyang, Henan province, Cheng Zhiming, looked in on the city's Zhongguancun Science Park, on May 6, to talk about investment promotion, competitive industries, and better scientific innovation and about the next focus on software, e-commerce, and finance for an efficient industrial system.

The park, in the city's high-tech industrial cluster on a 16-square–kilometer area, is still under construction and the administrators have completed space, industry, ecology, technology and finance planning and several projects are already underway. It is cooperating with industrial enterprises and higher education institutions such as Beijing's Tsinghua University.
