Jade and rose expo opens in Central China's city

The city of Nanyang, Henan province, drew back the curtains on its 12th international jade expo and the rose exhibition, on April 28, in the city stadium, with some top Chinese officials joining professionals from the jewelry and rose businesses, and the media in enjoying opening day.

After the opening ceremonies for the two separate events, everyone got a tour of the jade exhibition, the hall of selected rose varieties, a rose landscape exhibition, a rose product display, and forest products.

Some of the guests addressed the gathering to tell visitors more about these two leading industries of Nanyang, and there were exchanges and business opportunities with everyone expressing faith in the city's jade and roses.
