South Korean delegation visits Gansu for further investment

A South Korean delegation, led by member of the South Korean Congress - Cui Zaiqian, was received by Xia Hongmin, the vice-governor of Gansu province, in the city of Lanzhou, Gansu province on Dec 6th. And the South Korean guests visited Lanzhou city to develop closer ties and cooperation with the province of Gansu.

Xia Hongmin introduced general information about the Gansu province to the visitors, and he pointed out that Gansu has positional advantages, such as sitting along the Silk Road, a trade route in Northwestern China, where it is convenient to do business with cities in Central and Western Asia. He also expressed views of cooperating with South Korea, by saying that, “Gansu province now seizes opportunities to open the doors, and the provincial government attaches great importance on the relationship with South Korea.” He went on to say that, “Gansu province has cooperated with South Korea in agricultural products processing, culture and tourism, and is looking forward to expanding the cooperation field. Gansu province welcomes more South Koreans to visit and invest in Gansu ”

Cui Zaiqian remarked that, “Gansu is an important province for its special location, and South Korean people have celebrated with people in Gansu province in many fields and is expected to further develop good relationships in the future.”
