The Fourth Dunhuang Tour Silk Road International Tourism Festival opened in Zhangye city in Northwest China’s Gansu province on June 15. With a theme of “Tour magnificent Gansu; develop Silk Road tourism,” the event will last for an entire month.

The festival attracts international tourism organizations, envoys to China from 25 countries and regions, roughly 100 overseas travel agencies and over 40 correspondents from both domestic and international media outlets.
