Gansu launches consumer rights rectification campaign

The Gansu Provincial Industrial and Commercial Bureau launched a rectification campaign to protect consumer rights in five major categories, including household electronic appliances, clothing and the service sector. The campaign will last from Sept 23, 2013, to the end of 2015.

During the campaign, industrial and commercial departments around the province will inspect shopping malls, supermarkets and bazaars, while focusing on exclusive shops, general agencies and wholesale markets, to track and monitor expenditures and commodity quality.
