Gansu “Dunhuang Award” goes to foreign experts

At a National Holiday Symposium in the city of Lanzhou, Gansu province, in China’s northwest, on Sept 29, three foreign experts got the "Dunhuang Award" from the deputy governor of the province, Xian Hui, for their contribution to provincial development.

In addressing the ceremony, Xian said that the province considers the introduction of foreign talent to be very important and that, thanks to their support, its economy has grown significantly.

Xian went on to say that the province will continue to promote talent projects, for example, the national “1,000 Talent Plan”, and hire more foreign experts and that it will have related policies to improve their work and life in China.
