Almost all engineering projects for a customs checkpoint in the Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone are finished, Pingtan Times reported on April 11.

Workers were seen putting on that last couple of curtain wall pieces on a skybridge on April 10.

Inside the main office building, elevators are ready for use. All the functional zones, including the customs supervision and command center, conference room, and information center have been decorated and the equipment inside are being debugged.

Fences circling the checkpoint, stretching nearly 4.8 kilometers, have been put up. Workers are now putting in some greening efforts.
