A top disciplinary official from Fujian province visited the Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone (PCPZ) on March 5 to investigate its progress on executive powers.

Ni Yuefeng, secretary of the Fujian Disciplinary Commission, praised Pingtan's efforts in the clean government construction and anti-corruption drive over the past year, saying it boosted Pingtan's scientific development

In the next stage, Pingtan should lead as an example in expanding reforms while continuing to crack down on graft. The exercise of executive powers should be made transparent and open to the public online, he added.

Building a clean Party and government has always been a major task for Pingtan, and it will enhance supervision of power operations and improve various systems to make sure corruption is eradicated, said Li Dejin, director of PCPZ's administrative committee.
