An inspection team from the Fujian Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) visited the Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone (PCPZ) on March 3 to investigate the area's grassroots work.

Xie Xiutong, an official from the PCPZ's administrative committee, briefed the province's political advisers. Xie said Pingtan will do a better job of relieving working pressure on grassroots organizations with help from the committee.
