An inspection team from the Shanghai Pudong Development Bank (SPDB), led by its deputy governor, Liu Xinyi, visited the Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone on Dec 11 to discuss financial cooperation.

Wu Xiangren, deputy director of the pilot zone's administrative committee, thanked the SPDB for its contribution to Pingtan's development in the past few years, and gave a presentation about Pingtan's plans for development. He also told the visitors that he hopes the SPDB will increase its investment in Pingtan.

Liu said that the island county, which is a national pilot zone for opening up and reform, has great potential and a bright future, and he added that the SPDB will continue to provide excellent, innovative financial services for Pingtan.
