Competitive employee awards system boosts Pingtan's service quality

The service of government organs located at the Pingtan Administrative Service Center has greatly improved - since the authorities introduced a system that grades the performance of 22 employees working at service counters on a monthly basis.

Xu Jin, deputy director of the center, said that the competitive system will improve the professionalism of the employees.

The system was launched in March, and one three-time winner, Gao Zhuqin, said that it gave her "encouragement", and that she would continue to work hard to offer good service to the public.
