The Pingtan Electric Power Company recently opened a special service counter which offers more efficient and specific electric services for Taiwan business people in Pingtan, an island county in Fujian.

Tao Juncheng, a Taiwan businessman, runs a farm in Pingtan that requires regular automatic irrigation because the soil is not ideal for planting fruit. He said that he used to worry about the electricity supply in Pingtan, but has found that it offers good services.

He applied to the Pingtan Electric Power Company for a three-phase electric power system in May, and said that he is very impressed with the special service counter.

The power company often visits Taiwan enterprises to learn about their electricity requirements and help solve their problems. It also set up a record system for information regarding the electric power usage of Taiwan business people, in order to provide timely service.

A manager at the Pingtan Electric Power Company said that they study Taiwan’s service methods to improve the electricity application process in Pingtan, and enable Taiwan business people to experience the same efficiency and service in the county.
