The Pingtan County Office of State Administration of Taxation and Pingtan's taxation bureau have become the latest two members to expand business into a local comprehensive service building.
“The arrival of the two bureaus completes the chain for enterprise registration,” said Ren Chaiyong, director of the Pingtan Administrative Service Center on Tuesday.
The center was launched in June 2012, aiming to provide faster and more convenient registration process for new enterprises in Pingtan, an island county in China's Fujian and the nation's only pilot zone opening up to Taiwan.
Besides the two taxation bureaus, the center is also home to local departments of health, industrial and commercial, public security, quality supervision, all of which are authorized in approval of new enterprises, large or small.
Before, an entrepreneur had to spend much energy and time running between administrative organs for company registration procedures. A comprehensive service building saves troubles and enables entrepreneurs enjoy the one-stop service at the center, said an employee with the local taxation bureau.
The integrated service center also makes the work of administrative organs easier, added the employee. For instance, taxation bureaus don't have to travel long distance to relevant industrial and commercial departments for companies' information checking.
