The Pingtan weather bureau said on Sunday that temperatures will continue to soar for a while.

Temperatures reached 33 degrees Celsius on Monday and Tuesday, and they are expected to climb to 36 degrees this week.

Gao Chengliang, director of the Pingtan Meteorological Bureau, said that the heat will last until the arrival of the typhoon season.
