Applicable Scope: Banks owned by foreign capitalists.

Major Contents: The Regulations state the definition of the bank owned by foreign capitalists. The Regulations also regulate that the legal activities, interests and rights are protected by laws of the People’s Republic of China. In respect to establishment and registration, it is provided that the establishment of the bank owned by foreign capitalists or the branch shall be examined and approved by the banking regulatory authority. With regard to business scope, the Regulations stipulate the scope for business of foreign exchange and RMB.
