Du Yuansheng

Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of the Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone

Du Yuansheng was born in August 1961 in Luoyuan, Fujian province. He graduated from the Department of Horticulture at Fujian Agricultural College in 1988 with a bachelor's degree in pomology.

Du has occupied government positions such as deputy director of the Fuzhou Radio and Television Bureau, director of Fuzhou's cable television station, vice director of the Fuzhou Science and Technology Commission, and deputy secretary and mayor of the Fuqing Municipal Party.

In February 2007, Du Yuansheng was inaugurated as vice mayor of the Fuzhou Municipal Government.

In August 2009, he served in the Fuzhou Municipal CPC Committee and as vice mayor of Fuzhou concurrently. He was also secretary of the CPC Labor Union and director of the Administrative Committee of the Fuzhou (Pingtan) Comprehensive Pilot Zone.

On February 26, 2010, Du was promoted as the deputy secretary of the CPC Labor Union and deputy director of the Administrative Committee of the Fuzhou (Pingtan) Comprehensive Pilot Zone.

On August 11, 2010, Du was elected as deputy secretary of the CPC Labor Union, deputy director of the Administrative Committee of the Fujian Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone and secretary of the Pingtan County CPC Committee.
