Jinjiang, Fujian province, will welcome a new quality school with Bacui Bilingual School starting construction in May.
The school will be located on the north side of the city’s Expo Avenue, with a gross area of 105,500 square meters and construction area of 110,000 square meters. With a total investment of 450 million yuan ($68.7 million), it will be a bilingual boarding school and plans to set up 152 classes including kindergarten, primary, secondary, high school and international departments.
Bacui School was founded by the Business Development Center of the Red Cross Society of China and has several branch schools across China. In addition to bilingual schools, Bacui School now has been developed into a non-profit educational brand that has given financial assistance to over 2,500 students. It also launched several non-profit schools in poverty-stricken areas in the past years.
According to Li Jianhui, secretary of the Jinjiang municipal committee, Jinjiang will strongly support the school's construction and promote its early completion. The school is expected to positively promote the city’s development in educational undertakings and attract top talents to the city.
